About Collegiately Creative:

The first ever Iowa State University Event Management Conference, “Collegiately Creative,” exclusively planned by college students for college students! The conference will be a day full of inspiration, encouragement and motivation. This all day conference will feature a variety of guest speakers that will provide inspiration and encouragement to everyone. As the Event Management Club’s new annual signature event, Collegiately Creative will take place on April 16, 2016 in Lebaron and Mackay Halls at Iowa State University from 9am-4:30pm.  Check out our website for more information and purchase tickets to participate in this great experience!

The mission of our conference is to inspire and encourage creativity to benefit students' professional journey through hands-on activities and empowering speakers.

Conference Committees: 

 ~Treasurer: works closely with all teams in order to keep all spending within budget for the conference.

                 *Taylor Smith

~Event Layout: responsible for designing the conference setup, works with the event space team on logistics, as well as the fundraising, hospitality and talent committees to develop a smooth process.

                  *Kaitlin Clevenger & Bonnie Curley

~Fundraising: responsible for funding reliable sponsors to help fund and donate items for the confernce and conference attendees.

                   *Kativa Eckholt​

~Hospitality: responsible for the food and beverages the day of the conference, partnerships between the conference and the community, making the environment welcoming for guests and other day of roles.

                    *Elizabeth Johnson

~Registration: responsible for setting up, organizing, and managing registration before and during the conference.

                     *Lainey Crawford

~Marketing and PR: responsible for the marketing content, producing publicity campaigns, and for communicating about the conference with the target market.

                     *Angelica Lawson & Ali Willis

~Talent: responsible for finding local and national talent to inspire and motivate Collegiately Creative attendees.

About the Event Management Club:

          ISU's Event Management Club is for ISU students who have an interest in event planning. We are part of the College of Human Sciences and explore career paths in wedding planning, catering, meetings, travel and tourism, conferences and trade shows, non-profit and community events. The club offers networking opportunities, trips to visit event centers and to observe events, professional speakers in the industry, social events, service opportunities, athletic events, and friendship. The club is also affiliated with the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) and participates in the Convening Leaders Convention and Heartland Chapter events.
