Happy New Year--we are so excited for 2017! As we start the new year, we look back on 2016 and are so thankful for your support of The Fashion Show. In 2016 our fundraising goal was $20,000 and we surpassed that, raising $26,877! Thank you for your help and generous donations to make each year’s show the best it can be.
It is almost time to start our fundraising campaign for 2017. We set our goal at $20,000 again this year and plan to run a 30-day FundISU campaign starting January 25th. Please prepare for our launch by following our social media platforms and staying up-to-date with us. We appreciate every donation and the support given by each one of you to accomplish our goal. Get excited for The Fashion Show 2017!
WOW! We are amazed about the final number we have in donations from all of YOU! It means the world to our organization to have this type of support. Thank you for your donation to us...now it is time to get your incentives for your specific giving levels!

There will be an email coming shortly with a google form on how to order and receive your free t-shirt for donating $100 and above!
To our donor who gave $250 and above, an invitation to our Alumni Reception will be sent to your home soon! Make sure to RSVP to the Alumni once you receive your invitation to reserve your spot!
Lastly, to our Platinum donors at the $500 and above, please also be on the lookout for an invitation to have brunch with the Producers the morning of the show.

As per request of Stephen's Auditorium, there will not be any ticket sales available over the phone for pre-sale or general ticket sales. General ticket sales go on sale on Monday, March 7th and can then be purchased through TicketMaster.com or the box office, if you are not able to buy the tickets at Stephen's Auditorium Box Office.
Please contact the producers at fs.producers@iastate.edu if you need specific accommodations. We understand not all of our donors can make it in person to the box office and we will work with you to find a way to get your tickets during pre-sale.
We are excited to announce that vineyard vines will be featured as this year's guest designer! Be sure to attend the show on April 9th!
The Fashion Show 2016 Producer Team cannot thank you all enough for being so gracious in your donations over the past 30 days! With still 3 days left, we have exceeded our goal and could not be more excited! The Fashion Show has such an amazing community of family, friends, and businesses that supports us every year, but we are even more thankful that this new platform was established to give us the chance to thank you more personally.
As there are still 3 days left, we will still be accepting donations until the campaign is over. All donations over our $20,000 goal will go into our account for future years. The funds will still be used for scholarships and the overall production.

New merchandise is in! The Assistant Producers had a fun time picking colors and styles of shirts for the whole class to vote on, while the class did a great job of coming up with funny sayings.

The Fashion Show 2015 Documentary has officially been released! We had a showing last night and could not be more pleased with the end result. After endless hours of hard work, Richard and Rachel have documented the complete process of everything that goes into making The Fashion Show.

It has been such an exciting week since we have launched our first ever crowdfunding campaign through FundISU, for The Fashion Show 2016! We cannot thank our donors enough for being some of our first supporters in this new fundraising effort! We genuinely are looking forward to the next three weeks and meeting our goal of $20,000.
One of the most exciting things that happened this week is the announcement of The Fashion Show 2016's theme!
This year, The Fashion Show 2016 presents: The Roaring Revival. We are so excited to see what our Set Tech, Gallery and Display, and Art Directors do to convey the "art deco" inspired theme.
In 2015, The Fashion Show presented students with the first ever Merchandising Scholarship. We are excited to announce that we will be providing another Merchandising Scholarship this year and will announce the winning student during the awards portion of our show. We are very excited to be working with Maurices, as they create the project students will use to compete.
Applications for scholarship to be tentatively released on March 1st.
The models for the show were hard at work this week with their very first practice on Sunday, January 31st. The models have one of the most important jobs in the show, and we are excited to see the new choreography the Modeling Directors have come up with this year!
Our fundraising efforts for The Fashion Show 2016 do not stop at FundISU. We are working with local businesses and the university to do fundraisers as well. We have already had our committee members work at two Iowa State Men's Basketball games and we have three more coming up this semester! Last night, we had our first food fundraiser at Buffalo Wild Wings.

Richard Martinez and Rachel Geronimo have been hard at work since our show last year working on the first documentary for The Fashion Show! This documentary shows the behind the scenes of what it takes to produce The Fashion Show.
The documentary will be shown for the first time on February 10th, at 7pm in Lebaron 1210. This is an event put on by The Fashion Show and the Greenlee College.
