Support DubH Hip Hop Club!

Dub H Hip Hop Club has been a completely student-run organization since 2001, making 2021 our 20th Anniversary! Our club ranges from 100-800 members per semester. At the beginning of each semester, Dub H has a Choreographer Showcase where selected choreographers for the semester show a sneak peek of their dance. Members are able to select which dances they prefer to be in according to their schedules and interest. 

Each dance has one practice a week for 1.5 hours, held in Forker Building. Every choreographer has 10 weeks to teach their dance to their members. At the end of each semester, Dub H holds their largest event, showcasing every dance to friends, family and other ISU students at the Ames City Auditorium, which holds up to 800 audience members. Each show has their own theme, t-shirt design and program.

Dub H was once the largest student run organization on campus, however, due to the 2020 pandemic interrupting our Spring 2020 show and other safety precautions, Dub H has had a drastic decline in member numbers. However, DubH is still dancing on, and is excited to put on our showcase each semester for friends and family. This fall, we’re asking for your support to make this event a reality and keep the tradition going! 

For our 20th Anniversary, we hope to put on our best showcase ever to honor two decades of DubH dancing! Our show this year will take place on December 3, 2021 at 7PM at the Ames Auditorium, and we can’t wait to show our friends, family and DubH supporters everything we have been working on this fall!
