Our Crowdfunding Groups
The Science Bound Alumni Society is an organization created by Iowa State University Science Bound graduates in order to give back to our communities and amplify the opportunities for Science Bound students to accomplish their goals. The Science Bound Alumni Scholarship is intended to provide additional support to an exemplary student who distinguishes themselves among their peers and truly embodies the Science Bound creed of “nothing less than success.” This student goes above and beyond the requirements in the classroom, actively gives back to their community, and encourages their peers to succeed with them.
This scholarship supports a laudable student based on their ability to exemplify excellence in their academics while serving as an active role model for other students. This student is selected based on a set of criteria determined by Science Bound graduates and levied towards one whom we feel will have a significantly transcendent impact on their communities.
Lastly, the goal of this scholarship endeavor is not only to establish the scholarship, but also to maintain the award on an annual basis. The vision is to increase the recipients of the Science Bound Alumni Scholarship as well as expand the award amounts in order to extend the assistance further throughout the collective Science Bound student body.
