The 2023 Engineers Without Borders FundISU project has launched!

November 14, 2023

Hello, everyone!

A huge thank you to all of our donors and to everyone who has supported EWB! We are happy to announce that our 2023 project is live at https://fundisu.foundation.iastate.edu/ewb23

We are making progress towards our goal, and it is an amazing thing to see!  A generous donor is matching the first $7,000 donated to this year's project, so the impact of every donation is doubled. Please consider supporting this newest phase in our project, and then share the link with all so that we can reach our goal! The clinic construction has started, so donations are especially appreciated right now.

Thank you again for your support! We cannot do this without you!

Beginning Phase 2

November 09, 2022

Thank you to everyone who has donated so far!

With your help, we have already raised enough to meet our $5,000 matches and only need around $3,500 more to reach our full $20,000 goal! These funds will help support Phase 2 of our project: laying the foundation for the clinic. We received official approval from EWB-USA and have already begun breaking ground and pouring concrete! None of this would be possible without the help of the architects and workers on location helping to ensure the clinic reaches its full potential.

Here are a few pictures of the progress being made on-site!

Clinic Progress

October 26, 2022

Thank You to all our supporters who made it to Gathering for Ghana!

As of right now, Phase 1 of construction, which involved digging trenches and making blocks for the foundation, is completed. We are currently waiting on approval for Phase 2 which involves laying the foundation. Thanks to the help of KNUST, Self Help International, ISU Faulty, Brandon and Ina Retcher, and Ullo community members, the clinic's progress continues unhindered. It's been an exciting month in Ullo, Ghana, and here are some photos from that progress!
