Since it was established in 1974, Iowa State’s Master of Business Administration continues to evolve in order to meet the needs of students and industry. Today, the Debbie and Jerry Ivy College of Business offers part-time, full-time, and executive MBA tracks. Our full-time MBA has ascended in the U.S. News and World Report rankings, currently perched at #51 overall and #25 among public institutions, placing it in the top 10 percent nationally.
The college’s exceptional faculty balance research with experience in the field, and serve as enthusiastic, responsive educators and role models. As the most selective program of the college, the MBA educates exceptional leaders who graduate ready to take on tomorrow’s challenges.
Our MBA program is approaching its 50th anniversary! As we look to the next 50 years, we want to ensure the program’s reputation is not only maintained but elevated, and that our base of knowledgeable, innovative alumni continues to grow. Key to this is continuing to attract the highest caliber students – those who go on to lead their companies, institutions, and communities to success. Scholarship support makes that possible. It's one of the most effective tools the college can use to attract talented degree candidates and provide them with opportunities that enrich their educational experience.
Scholarship support allows students to fully embrace the Iowa State experience with less financial pressure. With this peace of mind, they can fully immerse in their studies with more confidence. They can dedicate more time to Iowa State’s many experiential learning opportunities. Experiential learning is fundamental to student development, allowing them to apply skills they learn in the classroom to practical situations encountered in the workplace. But for many, this may not be attainable without sufficient scholarship support.
