At times, family situations do not allow for a child to attend secondary school after graduating from 7th grade. Small scholarships to offset school fees are the ticket to keeping vulnerable children enrolled in school and truly make all the difference for a child wanting to continue.
Education is the foundation for sustainable livelihoods. Providing scholarships empowers children to pursue their education and dreams. By staying in school, youth gain the knowledge and skills needed to build a brighter, more sustainable future for themselves and their communities.
Join us in supporting the next generation. Whether you have already contributed or are considering a donation, your support is invaluable. The gardening programs work with young students– the next generation needed to help feed the world. Pupils enrolled in school garden projects and young farmer clubs receive hands-on experience, learning best practices in local food production while earning funds for school fees and scholastic materials. Participants take pride in the ingredients they help grow for the school lunch programs and the agripreneurial skills and planting materials they take home to their families and personal gardens. They learn that agriculture is cooland through their school’s agricultural club or home activities, they can earn income to offset their school fees and remain in school.
Help them and maximize your support by sharing this story and link (https://fundisu.foundation.iastate.edu/project/44955) with one or more others.
