EERI Seismic Design Competition 2017

This March, the Iowa State Seismic Design team will be traveling to Portland, Oregon to compete in the 2017 Undergraduate Seismic Design Competition. This is an international event, where teams construct model buildings on a shake table using earthquake motions This hands-on experience is invaluable in shaping our education in a very different way than formal classroom teaching.The team consists of Phuong Vo, Enrique Rubio Delgado, Nicole Johnson, Jack Li, Jacob Verry, and Jacob Eull. We are a dedicated group of students that has been working tirelessly on this project since the beginning of the school year, and we are incredibly excited to showcase our knowledge and structure at this year's competition!
