Help support the Women's Hockey Club at Iowa State University!
We are a part of the ACHA (American Collegiate Hockey Association) Women's Division 2 and compete against other Division 1 schools all around the Midwest. We love representing our University with great pride and showcasing women's hockey at the collegiate level in Iowa.
We need your help!
As our program has had much success in the past, we want to continue this going forward. This year we have multiple goals that we are trying to achieve on and off the ice.
The funds raised through this campaign will be allocated towards:
- Equipment and Gear: Hockey is a physically demanding sport, and quality equipment is essential for player safety and performance. We need to replace aging gear (over 10 years old), gloves, helmets, and ensure all players have access to top-tier equipment.
- Travel and Lodging: Our team frequently competes in tournaments and games that require travel, and the cost of transportation and accommodations has significantly increased. Funding will help ensure that our athletes can travel safely and comfortably to competitions, allowing us to compete with schools nationwide.
- Ice Time Payments: Access to quality ice time for practices and games is a significant ongoing expense. Funding will help cover the costs of renting rink space, which is vital to maintaining our training schedule and competitive edge.
- League Dues and Registration: As part of our commitment to competing at a higher level, our team participates in a competitive league. The funds will help cover registration fees and league dues, ensuring that we can continue to participate in regional and national competitions.
Your contribution will help us create a lasting impact on the development of women’s college hockey here at Iowa State, empowering female athletes to excel at their sport while building leadership skills that will last a lifetime.
