We Did It — Thank You for Supporting AMS at ISU!
Dear ISU AMS Supporters,
On behalf of the Student Chapter of the American Meteorological Society at Iowa State University, thank you for your generous donation to our FundISU campaign. With 28 donors contributing a total of $3,295, we surpassed our $3,000 goal, and we couldn’t have done it without you.
Your gift directly supports Iowa State meteorology students as they present original research, network with professionals and graduate school advisors, explore career opportunities, and sharpen skills at broadcast tape swaps and interview workshops. This year, 32 students attended the AMS Annual Meeting in Houston, TX, and with your help, we’re on track to make the 2027 AMS Annual Meeting in Denver, CO, just as impactful.
Beyond the conference, your support fuels a chapter that is deeply committed to community outreach, mentoring new students, and championing community in meteorology. Your investment in these students truly shapes the next generation of meteorologists.
We are so grateful for your generosity. If you’d like to stay connected and follow our journey to the conference, we’d love to have you follow us on Instagram, X, or Facebook.
With heartfelt thanks,
The Student Chapter of the American Meteorological Society at Iowa State University
