The Iowa State University Student Chapter of the American Meteorological Society (ISU AMS) is excited to announce that we will be attending the 100th AMS Annual Meeting and 19th Annual Student Conference in Boston, Massachusetts during January 2020! With your support, ISU AMS students will have the opportunity to present their original research with both poster and oral presentations, gain knowledge about cutting-edge research in the field, and network with professionals and graduate schools at the career and resource fair. Students will have the chance to explore careers, attend broadcast meteorology tape swaps, construct professional resumes, and practice interview skills at the 19th Annual Student Conference. A total of 20 students traveled to the 99th Annual Meeting in Phoenix, Arizona this past January, and we are striving to send another strong group to Boston next year for the AMS Centennial. We have spent the first half of the academic year working diligently in the community, on our own academics, and various fundraising efforts to allow our members to have this great experience. Please support our cause and help the next generation of meteorologists thrive in the future! Check out some of our student bios to learn more about us!
