Hello Engineers Without Borders supporters,
EWB-ISU is excited to announce the launch of our 2020 FundISU project! For the 2020 project, we are hoping to raise $5,000 to build a medical clinic in Ullo, Ghana. The new clinic will have a maternity ward, consultation rooms, pharmacy and more!
This year, a generous donor is offering a 1:1 matching gift challenge up to our $5,000 goal. With these matching funds, each $1 donated becomes $2 to double your impact and help us build a medical clinic to serve the Ullo-Dantie community.
You can find our 2020 project here: https://fundisu.foundation.iastate.edu/ewb2020. Please consider making a gift and sharing our project on social media. Thank you again for your support of EWB-ISU!
EWB-ISU wanted to personally thank all of our donors for their support to our campaign thus far. We are excited to announce that we are over 90% of the way to our goal of bringing Zack to Iowa State this fall! We could not be more excited about this opportunity becoming a reality and the benefits that this will bring to EWB-ISU, Zack, and the Ullo community. We could not make this happen without your support.
As the campaign is wrapping up in the next six days, we are asking for one final push to get us to 100% of our goal. We are less than $250 away from making this campaign a reality. Please consider sharing this campaign with your networks including social media channels and professional networks to help us spread the word and raise the final remaining amount!
Again, EWB-ISU thanks you for your generous support. We could not do this without you. As we have learned from working with Ullo, it really does take a village!
EWB-ISU wanted to thank all of our donors to this campaign thus far. We have made great progress towards our goal of bringing Zack to ISU. The chapter and Zack are thrilled to see the enthusiasm for this endeavor and are blown away by the support we have received!
On Saturday, April 6th, EWB-ISU hosted our annual Gathering for Ghana event in Ames, IA. This event featured a celebration of the new Ullo water system, posters on EWB-ISU's future work, stories from the travel team, a variety of presentations and a silent auction of handmade Ghanaian items. This event was attended by many people including club members, alumni, friends, family, faculty and donors. It was great to see everyone come together in support of the Ullo community.
EWB-ISU would like to thank all of those that attended the event and helped make it the most successful Gathering for Ghana to date. We are excited about the support we have received for future projects and continued partnership with the Ullo community. Thank you very much! We could not do what we do without everyone's contributions.
