SunRun is officially complete! It was a very exciting, successful week. We traveled nearly 1,000 miles, visiting sponsors and supporters from Ames to the Quad Cities to Sioux City. On Friday afternoon, the team was honored with the Iowa Lt. Governor, Kim Reynolds, joining them while they presented to Glidden-Ralston Schools. Lt. Governor Reynolds is a huge supporter of STEM, and with her help, we were able to emphasize the importance of STEM even more.
With the week at a close, the team is ready to iron out all the kinks found during the week (after some sleep first), and move forward with preparations for the American Solar Challenge. Thank you for all your support so far!
Hello from Coggon, Iowa! It's Day 3 of Sunrun, and we've already traveled over 300 miles through 8 cities. With your support, we've visited sponsors and supporters from Ames to Cedar Rapids, presented to students in Rock Island and Coggon, and visited Girl Scouts in Bettendorf, and we're only halfway through the week! We'll be in Webster City and Algona tonight, and Cherokee, Orange City, and Sioux City tomorrow. Be sure to catch us at the Orange City Tulip Festival Parade tomorrow night at 5:00pm.
We're over a third of the way to our goal, but we still need more support! Share the page with friends and family and help support STEM and renewable energy by supporting Sunrun 2016.
