Why Are We Fundraising
The Iowa State Women's Club Softball team is asking for your support in fundraising for our upcoming games and series, as well as regional's and national's tournaments this spring. Our team practices and competes year-round to prepare us for the National's Tournament in Georgia. To continue to represent Iowa State for Club Softball, we have to fundraise for many different expenses during our season. These costs include traveling, jerseys, umpires, hotels, association dues, and equipment. Our team made it to the National's Tournament in May 2021 and would love your help to get us back to Georgia this spring!
About The Softball Team
The Iowa State Women's Club Softball team consists of around 20 players from all over the country and from all different majors. Our team typically plays in 4 different series against other Midwest university club teams. During the 2023-24 season, our team competes against fellow conference teams: the University of Iowa, University of Nebraska, University of Kansas, and Kansas State University. As a new addition, we will play a non-conference series against Illinois State University in April. The Iowa State Club Softball team is affiliated with the National Club Softball Association in the Mid-America Central Conference in Division 1.
Why We Love Club Softball
Club Softball allows players to have to flexibility to compete in college sports while still having time for studying and other clubs. Being involved in club softball creates a sense of belonging and community. Each member on the team creates friends for life, grows through personal development, learns how to work together as a team, and enjoys each other's company while playing the sport we love.
Thank You
