With your generous support, 20 members of the ISU AMS student chapter were able to attend the 99th AMS Annual Meeting in Phoenix in early January. Students had the ability to network with graduate programs and employers at the career/resource fair as part of the student conference, submit broadcast resume reels for professional critique, present original research with both oral and poster presentations, and receive recognition for our Honor Roll mention and 2nd place poster!  Learning about new research in the field and a bit about our own interests was also a highlight from the week. Thank you for your willingness to support our students!

Our fundraiser was a success! Thank you so much for helping ISU AMS reach 103% of our goal! Thanks to you, students will be able to more easily afford to attend the AMS Annual Meeting as well as additional efforts including but not limited to: our annual science fair in the spring, outreach supplies, and even attending the Central Iowa NWA Severe Storms and Doppler Radar Conference. Hello everyone! We are back again to thank and congratulate everyone on all of their efforts because we reached our goal of raising $3,000 a whopping NINETEEN days early! This is such an incredible feat and we never imagined having this much success so soon. Going to the conference is definitely within reach and now we can focus on funding some additional efforts that out chapter is working towards. This includes our annual science fair, going to the Central Iowa Chapter of the National Weather Association's Severe Storms and Doppler Radar Conference, and purchasing new outreach supplies to support our school visits across central Iowa. Your donations make a huge impact and we can't thank you enough!

After one complete week of fundraising we have reached 23% of our goal with 23 days left! A few dollars here and there may not seem like much, but when everyone helps out it truly makes a difference in every students academic and professional life. We've done a great job so far and we couldn't have done it without all of your help!

After only two days we have already reached 13% of our fundraising goal! Thank you so much to those who gave so early! This is a great start and I can't wait to see how much we can all accomplish together!
