The Iowa State Daily, an award-winning media group serving the Iowa State community since 1890, offers a learning experience that sometimes takes our students far beyond Ames, Iowa.
As a student-run non-profit, our revenues primarily go toward funding our news platforms and investing in the equipment needed to provide a quality journalism experience.
What will your donation go toward
As we evolve our content and make intentional investments in our digital platforms, we have a greater need to train a higher volume of students in emerging technology and specialty skills. These include professional training in areas like Facebook Live broadcasting, podcast development and monetization strategies, drone use, digital storytelling, and user experience-focused design.
We are asking for your help in funding travel scholarships for Iowa State Daily students to participate in these educational training experiences outside of Ames.
